A family run carpet shop that cares
Introducing Mick – The owner of Valley Carpets. He has over 20 years’ experience in carpet and vinyl sales and fitting. He was previously a carpet and vinyl fitter at the Co-Op Department Store in Chesterfield, and ran a successful mobile flooring business called Michael Brown Carpets, with a loyal customer base in and around the Chesterfield area.
Mick purchased Valley Carpets in October 2022, after providing the highest quality fitting services to us for many years. He’s excited to continue building the strong reputation Valley Carpets have gained since opening, as a leading supplier of flooring solutions in the local area. Valley Carpets will continue to provide the best quality carpets, vinyl and rugs with the highest standards of service.
Highly skilled and experienced carpet and flooring fitters
Investing in our local community is core to what we do as a local business, this includes through apprenticeship programmes and supporting local events. Our main fitting team is led by Jordan, who completed his apprenticeship with Michael Brown Carpets which included direct on the job training with Mick. Jordan is a highly skilled and experienced fitter, and he is passionate about providing a high quality service to customers. Having a great relationship built through this apprenticeship scheme, they’ve worked alongside each other for several years.
The rest of the Valley Carpets team are friendly and knowledgeable staff who are always happy to help customers find the perfect flooring solution for their needs.
